Subject	Storing an unused brand new car battery?

Message	Bought a brand new Nissan 700 cranking amp battery 2 weeks ago, and never used it (didn't even pull off the sealed terminal caps). If I want to keep this but not use it for a couple months while the motor is out, should I trickle charge it? I'm not really sure of the procedure of storing a BRAND NEW battery that has never been cycled. I know you keep batteries that have been cycled and in use on a trickle/ tender. But is this different?
